Examview Update

URGENT – Texas Journeys, Grade 1, Examview Test Generator Issue

October 1, 2010

Dear Reading Teacher,

We hope that you and your students are enjoying your new reading program, Texas Journeys/Texas Senderos.

It has come to our attention that the Examview Test Generator for Texas Journeys, Grade 1, could have a potential defect within the itembank. In order to be proactive and protective of your systems, we are recommending that you immediately download a fix to correct this problem if you have already installed and used the Examview Test Generator for Grade 1. We are attaching the instructions for you to follow. Destroy the original Examview Grade 1 disk. Note: we have verified that this problem does NOT impact any other grade, nor does it affect Senderos grade 1.

We will be sending you a corrected CD in the mail shortly. The corrected Examview CD (s) will be shipped to the address on the original free materials request and will be ordered in the same quantities.

If you have not yet installed the Examview Test Generator for Grade 1, you need only discard the original disk and wait to receive the corrected copy. You will have it by the end of October.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you. We understand how important your time is and would not be taking this preemptive measure if we did not feel it was absolutely necessary. Our first concern is for the quality and instructional effectiveness of our educational programs.

If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact your sales representative or the Texas Sales Office at 1-800-426-6577. Thank you for allowing us to be your partners in literacy.
