Becoming a Trainer
How can resourceful, self-confident, independent people use their skills to further the success of both teachers and students? By becoming Houghton Mifflin Harcourt trainers!
Potential trainers must be prepared to deliver high-quality Professional Development, and must have the following:
- Five or more years of experience at the PK–6 or 6–12 levels
- Master’s degree or higher
- Deep content knowledge in reading, writing, spelling, math, or science
- Familiarity with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt programs
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel
All Houghton Mifflin Harcourt trainers must attend introductory seminars to learn about products, course content, and effective presentation techniques. Subsequent support is also offered through apprenticeships, co-trainings, and coaching.
