Every Day Counts® Calendar Math and Algebra Readiness
Every Day Counts Calendar Math, for grades K–5, provides a concise focus on key concepts and skills including place value, measurement, time, money, geometry, estimation, patterns, graphing, algebra and problem solving. The structure of the program emphasizes discussion and communication while promoting classroom routines. Students develop computational fluency with numbers while recognizing patterns to develop algebraic thinking. Algebra Readiness, for grades 6 and up, extends the Calendar Math philosophy using an interactive bulletin board program and provides powerful 10-minute math lessons and classroom discussions on key algebra readiness concepts.
Every Day Counts® Practice Counts
Every Day Counts Practice Counts, for grades 1–6, provides daily written practice to master facts and operations while building understanding through classroom discussion. The program builds good number sense using practice with patterned structure, visual models, computation, problem-solving contexts and reasoning. Using scaffolded and carefully sequenced exercises, Practice Counts helps students make connections and ensure success.

Every Day Counts Calendar Math provides students and teachers with opportunities to experience and discuss math, building conceptual understanding and computational fluency in just 10–15 minutes a day. The new Every Day Counts Daily Planning Guide is designed to help teachers implement Every Day Counts Calendar Math with fidelity and ease by providing discussion questions for each day as well as additional helpful resources.
